Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In 2012 the team, she won gold in the team competitions and also the floor workouts. In the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals during the Olympics. She won the gold for team during the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Also, silver medals were awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercise. Three years have passed when she last participated in competition gymnastics. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly works with The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her grandmother. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her leotard line and socks later on. Fierce, a new book she is working on is due out at the end of this year.
